Renfrew Association of Growers and Gardeners (RAGG) has received funding from the Big Lottery Fund to create a community garden in the Broadloan area of Renfrew.

It is hoped that the garden will provide opportunities for volunteers from all sectors of the community, young and old, able bodied and less able, to enjoy gardening and learning about gardening, growing and harvesting fruit and vegetables, cooking and eating these or just plain sitting enjoying the view!

The garden officially opened on 14th June 2014

In the meantime, a competition was held among P5 and P6 children from the four local primary schools to suggest a name and create a logo for the garden. Jack Barnes of P6 in St James Primary provided the winning entry: Garden of Dreams.

Please follow our progress as we create our dream garden.
